The rich tradition of the Islamic faith spans more than 1400 years of the most diverse spectrums of scholarship, heritage, and contributions to civilization known to humanity. Islam was a focal point in the development of not just sacred sciences but secular ones as well, extending to art, humanities and more. The faith played a deeply embedded, multifaceted, and pertinent role on every layer of the social, political, developmental, and educational fabric of a diverse tapestry of cultures and nations. This immaculate balance of faith with various cultures and realities was rooted in foundational principles that run deep in its Legacy. It is by rediscovering that legacy and its fundamental teachings that a religious practice that is at once in harmony with the demands of faith and modernity can be achieved.
The Legacy Institute hopes to not only reconnect Muslims to the rich Islamic legacy that has seemingly been forgotten, but also to revive its application in light of its timeless fundamentals.
We aim to connect the global community to not only the historical, cultural, civilizational, and scholastic legacy of Islam but also address contemporary topics and problems. In doing so, we seek to provide an accessible outlet for education in various media formats and delivered by qualified subject matter experts and researchers.
