– Explanation of the primer in Usul Al Fiqh by
Imam al Haramayn al Juwayni d. 478 H/1085 CE رحمه الله

This short course will consist of commentary and reflections on Imam al Haramayn al Juwayni’s (d.478 H/1085 CE) introductory primer on Usul al Fiqh (Islamic legal theory), the aptly-titled ‘al-Waraqat’. It is targeted at beginning students of Usul al Fiqh but will hopefully also provide food for thought for students who have passed this stage.

In sha Allah, this is the start of a series that will be followed by courses on advancing Usul study.

This course is absolutely *FREE* but requires registration if one is interested in joining the student group for asking questions, having discussions, and accessing resources.

Who Is this For?

This course is suitable for those who are at the very beginning of their studies of Fiqh or Usul. We will be reading the Arabic text, but previous knowledge of Arabic is not necessary for this particular course.
